TikTok Pixel

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data that TikTok processes in connection with TikTok apps, websites, software and related services (the ‘Platform’) that are linked or refer to this Privacy Policy.

When you make a purchase or payment on or through the Platform, including when you purchase TikTok Coins or goods through our shopping features, we collect information about the purchase or payment transaction, such as payment card information, billing, shipping and contact information, and the items you purchase.

  • Surveys, Research and Promotions.. We collect information that you provide to us when you choose to participate in a survey, research, promotion, contest, marketing campaign or event organised or sponsored by us.

  • When you contact us. When you contact us. When you contact us, we collect the information you send us, such as proof of identity or age, feedback or requests about your use of the Platform, or information about possible violations of our terms of use (our ‘Terms of Use’), community guidelines (our ‘Guidelines’) or other policies.

Our international data transfer

We store and process your Personal Data primarily in the United States, where our hosting provider (OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Services) is located. In other cases, our data processing may also involve the transfer of your Personal Data to ‘third countries’ within the meaning of the GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation), i.e. countries outside the European Economic Area where the GDPR is not directly applicable. Such a transfer is permitted if the EU Commission has determined that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed in the third country in question (e.g. the UK). If there is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission, your personal data will only be transferred to a third country if there are appropriate safeguards or if one of the conditions listed in Art. 49 GDPR is met. If you consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, such a transfer will take place on this legal basis. We will not keep your personal data for longer than necessary (e.g. CVs when you apply for a job and other personal documents and information). In most cases, this means that we will only retain your personal data for the duration of your relationship with us, unless we are required to retain your personal data to comply with applicable laws, e.g. retention obligations.

How do we protect your personal data?

Designlife GmbH takes reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we hold about you is treated confidentially and securely, including by:

  • A physical security of our premises and databases/records;
  • Taking measures to restrict access to personal data to only those staff who need to know that data in order to provide services to you effectively;
  • Technical measures such as anti-virus software, firewalls and 2-step verification procedures.

Cookies

The Internet pages sometimes use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called ‘session cookies’. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. We use Google Signals.

Data protection for Children

Our service is not aimed at persons under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 14. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from anyone under the age of 14 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
