Coffee Table Vulcano 82x92cm
Metal, water, earth and fire – the elements of nature provided the inspiration for this table series in volcanic grey. The table tops are made of solid sandstone and their edges look as if shaped by the forces of nature. The craftsmen in our manufactory achieve this effect through the elaborate processing of each individual plate by hand. Each Vulcano table is freely designed and thus an individual unique piece with the handwriting of a stonemason. It takes up to five days to work at a single table. The frame made of a bent steel rod is also forged and hammered by hand and we deliberately leave distinctive traces of production and processing on the metal surface.
